Michael's Story
Life
Been kicking around the CA wine industry for 8 years now. Presently working up in Hopland for Fetzer Vineyards as an Assistant Winemaker for the Bonterra Wines under Bob Blue.
As this position is not permenant yet, I am staying at the old Fetzer Tasting Room/ Visitor center with my 3 yo Australian Cattle Dog named Loki.

Workplace
Following my nomadic, and hedonistic, roots I was able to go through 5 jobs in 4 years. Each job added something and offered me the chance to take my career to the next level. I have been in my present position for almost 3 years now and will most likely stay for another 2 to 4 years. After that I really have no idea. Most likely I will stay in the wine industry as I can't really imagine doing much else and having as much fun as I am having now.
