Michael's Story
Been living in Sun Valley, Idaho for 12 years after starting my family and career in the Bay Area and after a short stint in Whitefish, Montana in 94. Raised my four kids up here and they are now all out of the house and working or going to school on both coasts. Marriage ended 3 years ago after 28 years.
I have been involved in various business ventures over the last several years since inactivating my law license. Currently involved in real estate and the food business with a couple of small restaraunts up here in Idaho. Also some small film projects that have been fun to work with.
Sun Valley is a recreational paradise with trails into the back country around every turn. Lot's of skiing, hiking, biking, boating, rafting, golf and even soccer which i play twice a week. It's a very forward thinking community as well; very green concious ...Expand for more
with an active self sustaining movement. I have been involved with many non-profits including the first spiritual film festival which we started with the Dali Lama's visit here in 05.(svspiritualfilmfestival.org) Great vehicle for exploring religions, customs and traditions from around the world.
Still in touch with a couple of my old buds from Monte Vista and had a great time at the 30th reunion with a couple of other MV classes. Still love the Bay Area and like to visit, especially San Francisco and the coast; (all of my bro's and sisters and my Dad still living there).
It's been great to see some of what my fellow MV graduates are up to and I look back fondly on those times we had together. It was a lot of fun for that short period which seems like a couple of lifetimes ago.
