Michael's Story
Life
After High School, I attended Murray State University in Kentucky for four years. While in school, I also joined a fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha and graduated with a double bachelors degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering).
Following college, I went to work for Commonwealth Edison in downtown Chicago. Shortly after, I met and married my wife (Therese Herbert) in 1988. Oddly enough, she attended Morton High School. Following the first year, I was offered an opportunity to spend two years in Washington, D.C. for my company working with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. We spent the years of 1989 and 1990 just north of Washington in the town of Columbia, MD. There we lived with our dog, Dakota, and began to build a house in Lind...Expand for more
enhurst, IL. We lived in Lindenhurst following the birth of our first daughter, Brittany, in April of 1992. I continued to commute downtown. In March of 1995, our second daughter, Ashley, was born and we decided it was time for a bigger house. Since we were continually back and forth from Indiana anyways, we decided to build our next house in Crown Point, which is were we reside today. We moved back into Crown Point in early, 1997. The following year, 1998, our final daughter, Tiffany, was born and our family is complete. Now a days, when I'm not working, I enjoy golfing, sports, or just swimming in our pool with the kids. So, to sum up:
