Michael's Story
Hey Spartans!
[I'll go off the story wizard prompts] I don't have a perspective as to how others may remember me but my hope is that I did not leave an impression of being egotistical or hurtful of people's feelings; I wanted to be a CIA agent when I grew up. My family and freinds thought that was a good idea. As it turns out they and I were off. I wound up being a lawyer by profession. I started out as a public defender then became a Deputy District Attorney. I was a Rampart police corruption prosecutor and have been prosecuting crimes for the past several years.My favorite way to relax[not counting exercising] is to read or watch music videos from our generation[70's and the 80's]; Did not do any really wild things at Sierra except stack the lunch benches in the quad in a pyramid shape in front of the snack shack. I did hide the senior rock one year[class of 73 was pissed]; the only other thing was Dave Koza and I broke off a chemical[name eludes me this second] from the chemical lab of Mr. Botti and we tossed it in a puddle of water by the snack shack and caused a big explosion. David Koza and me almost got suspended David Koza started crying and Mr. Weeks felt bad for him[he was really sobbing]so Mr. Weeks decided to give us a break "You boys better not do this again" when we left the office David laughed and asked me not to tell anyone...I kept it a secret until now,,,; I do recall making out with Rosanna Paz as a sophomore and a counselor coming by and tapping me on ...Expand for more
the shoulder and tellind me to act more mature...I thought I was compared to what my goal was at the time..I really enjoy the reunions in my own heart and mind I have so much affection for people in our time range[71-79]I still picture so many different people at different spots on campus. My current goal is to lose weight. I need to drop about 20 pounds . Happily I still have all my hair. My biggest regret about being at Sierra is not being a nicer person and a more encouraging person...and if I had hurt someone's feelings along the way that I could tell them look Iam sorry for being a particular way in high school; I sorry if I was hurtful to you in anyway. But Sierra was a great experience in all my college and graduate school experience Sierra was still part of the best time of my life..when I drive by I will occasionally walk on campus..or into the basketball gym and hear the pep rallies[as each of the classes sat at different parts of the gym in the bleachers and chanted class cheers..]still sad to see it "closed" as the Siera signs come down each a little at a time but I recognize it as being the same and changed just like any of us..I would love to communite with any of you from Sierra as a school I am constantly amazed when I learn what wonderful things Sierra students have accmoplished and have become[I am glad to say I have never prosecuted anyone from Sierra] Please drop me a line I'd love to chat with you...take care Michael[did not check for spelling errors!}
