Michael's Story
Life
My name is John Michael Dove, but I go by Mike. I am a 59 year-old grandfather with two grandchildren, ages 13 and 10. My wife Lynette and I live in Santa Maria, California.
I grew up as an Army brat and I graduated from Nurnberg American High School in 1964. I attended College off and on between 1964 and 1970,majoring in History & Economics. I worked as a professional musician from 1964 until 1976 as both a...Expand for more
performer and manager. I began a computer career, first
as a programmer writing economic modeling programs from 1976
until 1984. I also worked as clerk and manager for B.Dalton from 1978 until 1990. Since then I have been a systems integrator and consultant to local businesses, local school districts, and businesses operating at Vandenberg AFB. I have been a full-time employee of Lockheed Martin for the last 6 years.
