Michael's Story
I was at Wilson from 68-72 (we were the last class that spent five years there) and I enlisted in the Army in 1977, after losing my job in Youngstown at Sheet and tube. I was the trainee of the cycle at Ft. Knox and went to Alabama for M.P. School. I spent twenty plus years in the Military and retired . I then went to work for another steel company and was elected to Public Office on a School Board in Pennsylvania, where I changed National Election Laws. (Google my Name) I was transfered to Alabama and worked for another steel company and then went to a Police Academy, where I was the Class President and became a Police Officer and worked that wonderful profession for ten yrs and retired. I have two daughters who are Nurses. One in Alabama, and one in the Navy. I am, unfortunately, divorced, and have one...Expand for more
granddaughter and a Grandson on the way. Pretty much me in a nutshell. I travel every chance I get and love it. I can travel anywhere, anytime, so look me up. I was an all star softball player for the Army for two yrs and played semi-professional football for three yrs until I blew out my left knee. I coached a Championship Team while in the Army, in Germany of 12-14 yr olds. We were 1-8 the first yr and 8-1 the next and Champions. I loved those kids. I have been all around the world and visited so many places, I hardly remember them all. Wars, yes..hated them but we won. I was also an Instriuctor for the Army in Military Police Garrison duties and combat skills. I have had a very good life. I only wish I were still married. Update: My ex and I are back together. She is a very special woman. Enough said.
