Michael's Story
Life
I was interested in art throughout grade school, jr.high and high school. I went on to get a BFA and a MFA in sculpture. I have a studio in the Los Angeles area and my medium of choice is neon. I have gotten a Ford Foundation award and I am a J. Paul Getty Trust Fund Fellow. I have completed a number of public and private art commissions in the United States, including Alaska and Ohio and I am currently working on one here in Los Angeles and also one fo...Expand for more
r the city of Minneapolis. Do a search in Google with my name to see some of my artwork. I have gotten to travel a little in Asia. Spent time teaching neon glass bending in Japan and have spent time in Taiwan as well.
I am not married currently but have been married twice. I have a 27 year old daughter who is in graduate school for printmaking. I guess she is going to be an artist as well.
