Michael's Story
"Whether it be a dim-lit bar with a pedal steel guitar,
A salloon, a tavern, or a honkey-tonk,
A blind pig, a speak-easy, or a lounge,
A cafe or a pub:
These are all the tabernacles of my time.
And my congregation are all those
Who randomly gather there
On next-door barstools
And who HOIST a toast to High Conviviality."
And that was all that was meant for me. How "bout it?

Specials bound for the K-Mats in Rochester N.Y. and then dead heads to mills at
Conneault OHwhere is waiting a flatbed of cold rolled stell headed for the stamping
plants down at River Rouge. Anothe flatbed of black 3" pipe gets us all the way to
Omaha where word comes of an open ended gig driving gravel trains up, down, and
around Pike's Peak in a definitely low geared Bison tractor. Nightfall brings a new
