Michael's Story
Life
Met my Wife in Salzburg Austria. Married 14 years, two beautiful Daughters, two Parrots and a Black Lab named Coaco.
Live in a great city ,have travelled the world and enjoy driving my 1960 Austin Healy or my 78 M.G.B. roadster
I spend most summers on the coast with family.
I am very lucky to have such a great life !!
My favorite city is Vennice Italy,Kokari Greece is a close second

School
I have some very cool memories for sure ,like cruising Stevens Ave in J.Ds Datsun Caddy.
Disco was in, and still is.
Star Wars and Close Encounters were in theaters(saw Star Wars 52 times)
Meatloaf saw paradise by the dashboard light and there were sky rockets in flight.
Loved all the GREAT muscle cars.
I still listen to all of the music !!

Currently I am writing a book based on my culinary journey.
Begining a Masters in Leadership Arts this June.
Workplace
Now working as the Chair of Trades and Apprenticeship in the Post Secondary system.
Career began at the Banff Springs Hotel.

Two years Sheraton Hotel -Salzburg Austria Chef Saucier/Hotel Sacher Salzburg (leading Hotel of the world) Chef Garde Manger
Award winning member of the Sheraton Culinary Team in European competition (third in Europe)
Several Gold medals on the National culinary scene
Five Years as Executive Chef in Victoria B.C.
