Michael's Story

After high school, was persuaded by mom to go to college, went to T.S.J.C. and got an A.A.S. in Law Enforcement, then followed my dream of joining the Marines. Served from '82 until '86 when an accident took off my right leg. Worked odd jobs until '89 and got on at the Post Office. Hated it. Almost went postal, went back to colleg...Expand for more
e at Denver Technical College and Colorado Technical College and got another A.A.S. in Information Technology. Worked for Lockheed Martin from '97 til 2000. Was medically forced to retire in 2000. Now I ranch a small herd of cattle, help the wife run her antique shop and am a slumlord, renting out trailers and houses we bought.
