Michael's Story
Since graduating from Lew Wallace, I attended Wabash College for two years, until my draft number of 8 led me to enlist in the US Navy. I spent most of my 3 year tour in the Mediterranean, and learned a lot about life and people and places with which I'd not otherwise have come in contact. I finished up my BA in History, English, and (to my everlasting shame) PoliSci at the U. of Illinois in Champaign, graduating early after 7 semesters, and then lived in Ann Arbor for two years as the office/sales manager for an advertising specialty company, which was a great, fun way to earn money for law school. g against Nancy Pelosi as the 2002 GOP nominee - I moved to San Diego in 2003 to continue working in the Attorney General's office. I retired from the practice of law in September 2014, and am now working on getting my house and myself in shape and reclaiming my title as Master Road Tripper that I gained during my years as a SIgma Chi at Wabash. Still swimming and bicycling, and I get back to the Region at least twice a year to visit my dad, who now lives in Highland, and to get up to Traverse City, which for me is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Always happy to hear from fellow "L.W." grads and swap stories of the way we were and the way we are now. Good health and God's blessings to all!
