Michael's Story
Life
Married with 2 children. Andrea (15) and Michael (11). We live on the Sanborn River in the heart of the Manistee National Forest in Baldwin, Michigan in the same house that I built 18 years ago. I am an avid poker player and play atleast 4-5 hours per day. I consider myself to be well above average at the table with a lot of room for improvement. rom 1981 to 1990. After leaving Waldbaum's, I spent a small amount of time in Tucson, Arizona, until finally moving to Baldwin, Michigan. After working for Waldbaum's, I realized I never wanted to work for anyone but myself. I currently own a 22000 sq. ft. Ace Hardware Store in the town that I reside. I have 20 employees of which most of them have been with me for 6-12 years or more. Each one of them will tell you it is the best working experience they have ever had.
