Michael's Story
Hi all ......... Ok I'm gona try to make this short and sweet because after a short time I get real bored with long stories..... I joined the navy after h.s. did 4 years and learned my trade.... Engineering Operations..... I Went to work for the General Electric Co. right after the service, and got married to a very special lady from Leominster, Ma. We had 2 beautiful girls and settleted in Lynn, Ma. (The GE riverworks plant is located in Lynn..) We had plenty of ups and downs like every one else and did the best we could to make a good life...... Anyway 1995 I was disabled from the company , Got divorced and felt our world crashing down ....Expand for more
.. around us..... I had a long road to get back to being ok ... So did the family, but Thank God, he got us through..... My 2 girls are both married and I have 5 beautiful grand kids , ages 4 through 10 .. I am blessed for sure in about a million ways .... I also had the pleasure to take care of my mom in her last years back in the same house I grew up in .I lived in Shirley , Ma. for a short time after she passed then moved to Oklahoma City, Ok. My youngest daughter lived there and I came in with her and her family . We moved to Chicago, Il. in 2006 and now live in a suburb just north of the city called Skokie,Il. So life has been good Thank God .
