Michael's Story
Hello to all, it's funny how time goes by and now we find ourselves on the threshold to becoming senior citizens when it seems it wasn't long ago that we were seniors at Churchill High. I retired two years ago from being a commercial tanker driver for many years. My wife and I moved from the rat race in SE Michigan to our retirement home in Harrisville Michigan to enjoy the peace and serenity of Northern Michigan. Unfortunately, my dear wife Pam passed away last June after a courageous battle with cancer. So now I find myself learning ways to move forward without my soul mate and true love by my side. le, life has been good to me as I have twin girls that are 38 years old and have achieved much for themselves, My daughter Amber is a professor at Michigan State teaching human anatomy and Ashley has a masters degree in sports medicine. Even with these active schedules, they have managed to marry terrific guys and bless me with 8 grandchildren whom are just beautiful. "I know, I'm biased". Aren't we all... I truly hope that all of you are doing well as I have many a fond memories of our crazy days of growing up in the great 1970's and sharing them with you.
