Hi Everyone, It is amazing how fast time goes since many of us went to the Orange Show Grounds to watch SBHS football. Yes I am still tall, but I have filled out a bit from SBHS days. Below summarizes much of what I have been doing since graduation in 1969. After I left San Bernardino High School in 1969, I attended The University of Southern California where I met my wife Beverly and obtained my bachelors degree in 1973. I then worked on and received my Masters in Business Administration (Marketing) in 1974 from USC as well. Beverly and I were married in 1983 and now have been married for 38 years. I began my career four days after graduation in 1974 as I went to work in the printing / packaging business for Container Corporation of America. We produced retail packaging for tissue, cereal, beer, raisins and other retail products. The business was bought and sold five times over 40 years including to Mobil Oil, Jefferson Smurfit Corporation, Smurfit Stone Container Corporation, Altivity and finally Graphic Packaging International. Through all of this I held positions in sales, finance, production and marketing and for 10 years was the General Manager of the Irvine, California Facility. I ultimately became Vice President and General Manager of the Western Region responsible for four plants and served in that job for four years and then Vice President of Sales and Product Development for three years.
