After graduating high school I went into the navy (short lived Medical discharge). Since my first choice of work didnt pan out I was then entered into school for business (accounting) I had always been good with numbers. While in school I found my hobbies in the music and automotive industries were to be what I was good at and I entered the car audio and auto customizing business which I had been doing at several shops around town and even worked in the home theater business since most stores were multi industry type businesses. When I got married for the first time in 96 I was working for a shop that was kind of unique as we didnt have standard hours nor the standard clients ...all in all I enjoyed working with these guys as it was my first taste of being a self employed contractor. I was able to do projects that had deadlines that in order to meet them we would pull together and work 22 hour days to get the cars done ... I did this for 2 years...with all the high pressure.. tempers did get overworked and a clash with the owner and I chose to go back to a 9-5 shop. while working my 9-5 I built up clients who enabled me to open my own shop in 99 which I worked at doing the same style of work plus more with my guys(arron, bernie, craig, joe, My brother, and all the guys who helped) each one has their own talents but pulled together we did some amazing work. all this time I went through a divorce ,had some bad relationships, and couldnt focus on my work anymore, so In 2003 I closed shop and moved . When I relocated with my girlfriend at the time ( now my wife) we restarted our lives In dallas. I was able to show some of the work I performed as I did keep the skills I had and Landed a job In the car audio business down here. i worked for a shop that had multiple locations throughout the metroplex at their flagship store . Here I started to work on high profile cars since we have many ball players (football, basketball, soccer) and high class customers.I also worked with the store manager on his home theater business whenever he needed help with his installs. After a year I transfered to the next largest store and was the lead tech/ installer/ store manager.
