Michael's Story
Life
I went into the Navy 3 weeks after graduation. Made my career in naval aviation for 21 years. I retired from the Navy in 1999. I knew right away that I wasn't ready for AARP. I went into the Orange County Sheriff's Academy at 38 years old (oldest in my class). Graduated and currently a Deputy Sheriff in Orange County, California.
I got married in 1982 to a girl I met overseas. We had 2 children (girl then boy). They are now grown up. I was married for 17 years. I was gone so much in the Navy, that once we started spending more time together, we discovered we didn't have much in common. In 1998 I met m...Expand for more
y current love on line in a chat room. We are EXTREMELY happy together. I married her in 2004 and now have three more kids and two grandsons. YEAAAA!!
We live near the Cleveland National Forest above Lake Elsinore in southern California.
I know some of you are thinking... Mike Lacey a Deputy???? Go figure. There is hope for humanity yet. We plan on retireing in ten years and moving to Alaska with a second home in either Wickenburg or Prescott.
I never counld attend any reunions because of being overseas mostly. I am looking forward to a next one if there is one. Let me know.
