Life
Hey! Yep, I got into showbiz . remember Harvey & The Senior Variety Show? Well that was just the beginning! The photo i put in is how i look now - minus the white goatee and moustache! lol .. anyway after Vietnam (US Army - Sgt. E-5 in Anke & Pleiku) went to NYC to persue it. Got to sing and dance for a while in the Big Apple . finally left performing to become a theatrical agent for some pretty talented and now famous actors. It was all fun. Met Mary Jo Slater (mother of Christian Slater) and we became Casting Director partners. 14 Broadway shows and tv under our belts (including 2 years casting One Life To Live on ABC) . opened my own production company and for 12 more years produced all the big revue shows on 13 cruise ships (of course got sea sick every cruise). Had a place in Kauai (produced for American Hawaii Cruises for 8 years) and in Manhattan. 2 heart attacks later (a wake up call) went out to be an Artistic Director for several theatre companies, Vegas etc. - well went to a small theatre in upstate Michigan (Alpena) and literally found God again. rtistic Direct - but the town and church called me back. I live here now. Direct, choreograph, set design and even still perform in shows here and am the Coordinator for NE Michigan Coalition for the Prevention of Homelessness & Hunger (5 counties) and looking to open my own dinner theatre with partners up here (no dinner theatres at all for hundreds of miles). Anyway . Carole Davis and I were agents together in NYC and she is doing great (Savion Glover is her client among many) Saw Pat Nager (my gal Pat) a few times about 8 years ago living in Marshall but lost touch. I keep fit and try and stay as healthy as ever . Saw Marilyn P (our homecoming queen) working at Walmart in Taylor a few years ago (still the long hair) and sweet as ever. I could rattle - but do think of you guys and the good ole days . Hoping you'll stay in touch. WHAT NO REUNION? Lol. Be well everyone. We're still here and we are the class of '66! Where's Ken Day?
