Michael's Story
Life
My life bio. FAITH. On May 4, 1999 I gave my life to Christ. He has changed me inside and out. I still struggle and I not perfect by any means but with his help I am on the right track. Our family attends church at Community Gospel Church in Bremen. We enjoy pastor Dave and all of the people who attend. WORK. Well since high school I have worked mostly in the painting business. I started at Mike's Custom Painting and from there I went to work at Newmar in 1996. In 2001 I partnered up with two friends an we own Precision Painting Inc. in Bremen. We paint motorhomes for RV manufacturers. We just opened up our new shop on high road across from Nisco in November of 2004. We hope to increase our production from 2 motorhomes a day to 4 motorhomes a day by the end of 2005. FAMILY. On Septmember 11, 1999 I married an amazing woman, Erika Dalton. I have three awesome step kids. Samantha a sophmore who will be 16 in april, Ali an eighth grader who will be 15 in june, and Wyatt a third grader who will be 9 in march. They are all active in sports and all have made the honor roll every semester. On November 15, 2003 Erika and I had a beautiful boy named Carter Philip Leman. January 4, 2007. We no longer have a dog. Samantha is a senior and is planning on going to IUSB. Ali is a sophmore and works part time at precision painting. Wyatt is a 5th grader and enjoys football and basketball. Carter is 3 and loves dinosaurs and trains. Erika is 29ish and loves to scrapbook. Mike is growing his business and enjoys golf.
September 21, 2007. Great news in the Leman household! We are going to have a baby! Doc says that its a girl and she's due in January. Erika's doing good although she would rather I carry the baby. As for the rest of the kids, they are all in school now and all still living at home.
January 16, 2008. Our baby girl has arrived! Chloe Ann Leman was born January 15, 2008 at 1:22 pm. She weighed 9 lbs 2 oz. Chloe was born with down syndrome but that is not holding her back! She is so beautiful and her mother and I are so blessed to have her. She is currently in the nicu at memorial hospital but should be coming home soon. We also have a new son in law. Samantha eloped January 12, 2008. She flew out to San Diego, Ca and married a marine that she is madly in love with. She will be moving out there at the end of February to live with him on base. Until then she plans on helping Erika with her new little sister.
