Michael's Story
College
My best memories of BC are the trips with Gades International and the good times with the other ASB members. Let not talk about the overnight trip to Cerritos and the victory bell. I still refer back to notes taken in McCall's political science class, when I teach my senior government classes.
My fond memories of UCSB are good times with my roommates, Bob, Montelle, and Douglas; working for Dr. Hsu; and the uniqueness of Isla Vista.

Dr. Hsu in the History Department at UCSB. I returned home to Bakersfield to teach mathematics and social studies at West High School in 1968. Hawaii called in 1976 and spent a sabbatocal year there basking in the sun and taking classes at the U of H. Southern California called out to me in 1987 and spent two years working for the Center for Civic Education promoting the academic competition, We the People - Congress and the Constitution. In 2001, I transferred to Ridgeview High School, and plan to retire in 2006.
