Michael's Story
Michael is from Midlothian, Illinois. He is married to Julia Baker Maratea. His schools include Bremen High School. He later attended Northern Illinois University (Speech & Drama, Elementary Education)and Governor State (Masters) He works(ed) at School District 140.
Michael retired from teaching after 34 years. His 1st year he taught at Spaulding then Tinley 140. He has coached High School Tennis since 1979 and has owned the South Suburban Tennis Academy since 1986. He currently serves as a Board Member in Orland 135. ds time coaching his sons' basketball teams. Music he likes includes Contemporary Rock, Disco and Classic Rock. Books he likes include The Lord of the Rings, A Game of Thrones, Capone, Hunger Games, and anything Stephen King . Movies he likes include The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Godfather, Goodfellas, and Casino. TV shows he likes include 24, The Voice, American Idol, and any sporting event.
