Mike "Mac"'s Story
Laurel Thurman, also from the class of 1968, and I graduated with all of you June 14. We married July 12, in Canoga Park, CA. We've been together 49 years so happy it seems unfair!
Our family is growing:
2 daughters (one passed)
4 sons
20 grandchildren, 8 married.
8 great-grandchildren (another one in the oven)
We moved from Californa in 1997 to Bloomington, Nebraska, a village of 88 souls located 7 miles north of the Kansas Nebraska state line. We're 55 miles due south of the nearest "Wal-mart". Our home is located on 4 acres in the...Expand for more
middle of the village. We bought this old house (needing major fixing) for $6000 + $1000 back taxes.
I have my own Refrigeration, heating and A/C business. Laurel is the local postmaster. My hobbies are amateur radio, shooting and reloading. Laurel's hobby is an obsession for Family History.
We are active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. Our congregation is located in Phillipsburg, KS a 50 mile drive a couple of times each week.
We love our Lord Jesus Christ, His.church, and the privilege to serve..
