Michael's Story
Two weeks after HS ended, I got married to Karen Monahan, joined the Air Force, and didn't come back for five years, outside of holidays. After military service, I worked for the federal government and then the aircraft industry. During that time I had moved back home to Hudson Falls. Sadly, like one out of two couples, Karen and I have gone our separate ways.
I married Andrea, a Gloversville school teacher, in the summer of 2009. She came with a stepson, Zack. I worked as a Director of Operations Development for Kadant AES (by the duck pond on Quaker Rd.) where I worked for 30 years before it closed. Then I wo...Expand for more

Now in 2022, I have 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren!
I have a 50 yo son who worked as a carpenter in Japan for nine years and is now a senior computer applications designer. Mickey married his Japanese interpreter...he has a son and two daughters. Heather is 45 and is a teacher. She married Joe Battiste and they have two boys. Erin is 42 and is a Vice President for Glens Falls National. She's got five children and a grandchild.
Now, I fill my time with exercise. Spinning, biking, walking, running and hiking. Good thing, because I like food way too much!
