Life Family: Moved to California in 1987. I met Hilary in 1990 in Grad school (Moss Landing Marine Labs) and asked her to marry me 4 weeks after our first date. Hilary now does Health and Safety for a bio-pharmaceutical company in South San Francisco. We were married for 13 years before having our first and only child, a daughter, Morgan who is the highlight of our life. I stayed home with Morgan for first 2&1/2 years, then went back to work at a hospital in Santa Cruz doing Cardiac and Pulmonary rehabilitation. Morgan is now 3&1/2 and loves preschool and swimming lessons. She has now entered the "Princess" phase and loves to dress up. We took her kayaking for the first time when she was 5 weeks old - she slept through it. I take her kayaking about once a month - we recently paddled with Bottle-nosed Dolphins. We currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats, none of whom like to kayak. Education: BA in Psychology from UB, BA in Biology from University of California Santa Cruz, Almost a Master's from Moss Landing Marine Laboratories, Master's (2002)in Exercise Physiology from San Jose State University. Work: Waited on tables for too many years to get through college, Worked on a whale watch boat for 1 summer. Worked as a SCUBA diver for National Park service for 2 years.
