djudicator, a clarinet soloist, and a school clinician, specializing in woodwinds and young bands. As a performer, he is a member of the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra, Alpena City Band and the Alpena Symphony Orchestra. He is a member of Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (M.S.B.O.A.) and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia professional music fraternity. In 1987, Mike Moors founded the Saint Anne's/Immanuel Lutheran band program, which offers a band program to parochial school students in Alpena. In 1997, Moors spoke at the Midwestern Conference for vocal and instrumental music on aiding non-clarinetists in developing tone quality and intonation in their clarinet sections. He gave a similar presentation at the state Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association clinic for elementary and junior instrumental music teachers in 1999. He has articles published on the Clarinet Online Resource and a series of articles in the Texas Band Journal. Moors was selected for the 2002 edition of Who's Who Among America's Teachers.".
