Michael's Story
Life
After traveling the world in the USAF I am back living in Alliance. This town is changing and growing in some places, and not so great in others... but it is still home :)
School
AHS... Hmmm. I cannot remember much from those days. I was a geek and about the only thing I liked was marching band and the four years of drafting. Going to some NFL games was cool.
College
None. No degree here.
Workplace
Not much to say here really. I work at Honeywell Aerospace in Strongsville OH. Yes, I commute from Alliance each and every day... and have worn out many vehicles in the process. I repair electronics from aircraft that includes radio, navigation, radar, collision avoidance, and other systems.
Military

ultures I had only heard of or read about. Working in the 7th Special Operations SQ was totally awesome dude!! And how could I not forget Linda Fitz.... she was awesome! But somehow I got reassigned to Minot AFB in North Dakota. At first I asked what did I do to deserve this assignment. But you know what, it grew on me. I ended up staying there for nearly 4 years. But after the first Gulf War (the only one we should have had in my opinion), the force went into down-sizing. And when the money was waived in my face, I thought it was a great opportunity to start a new civilian life without the "regulations". Somehow I thought I missed that lifestyle and rejoined the military around 1995 by joing the reserves at Youngstown Air Reseve Station. I soon found out that (again) the military was not for me. So while I have great admiration for the people that wear the uniform of our country's military, I cannot be a part of that group. A decision I know is right for me.
