Life
My Spouse
I met Esperanza in Panama in 1994 during my two years of work with the Peace Corps in Panama (1993-95). Esperanza earned her bachelors degree in Spanish from Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 2014. She taught in local high schools for two years, but is currently homeschooling our youngest, Diego who is in 9th grade.
My Kids
Charles Elias was born in my wife's hometown, Macaracas, Panama, in 1995.

was born in El Paso, Texas, during my seminary vicarage (internship), in 1999. Diego Amir was born in HIllsboro, Texas, where we currently live, in 2004.
My Job
I was a pastor/missionary with the Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod) in Panama (2000-2002). Since November 2002, I have been serving as the pastor of Christ Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, Texas (about 1 hour south of Dallas/Fort Worth and 30 minutes north of Waco, Texas).
