RETIRED RETIRED RETIRED...now I have to clean out the Garage. Haha, I was given an alarm clock for a retirment present My home of records since 1986 has been Melbourne Florida. I learned along time ago how to make GOD laugh, I did this telling him what I had planned for my life. Believe me, he truly had bigger plans for me than I would have ever imagined. With that said, I stand on my own two feet and take full responsibility for my life and my actions. For the last 24 years I've enjoyed a very distinguished and decorated Air Force career. I'm looking forward to retiring, the only reason I haven't is my troops and peers have asked me to stay until my 25 year mark. I've been involved in every major combat operation from Panama to the 2nd Gulf war. I'm very well educated and trained and I could have retired at the age 39. With the investments I've made over the years and my retirement benefits, I'm fortunate to be in a situation where I don't have to ever work again, unless I choose to do so. I've seen the world, and enjoyed every single second of it. Yes, the Tuscany Valley is truly gorgeous and the tower of Pisa actually leans to one side. Which brings me to my next point about me...When I'm "old and grey" sitting on my front porch I want to regret the things I've done, and not the things I haven't. I still have a lot to learn, see, and do in my life and I am so looking forward to accomplishing them one day at a time. With the lord by my side, it will be that much more pleasant when doing it.
