Michael's Story
After graduating from the New York School of Printing I worked in Brooklyn for a printing company for two year. I joined the Air Force as a printer and was stationed in Tokyo Japan, the Pacific Stars and Stripes newspaper. I worked in the jod shop, printing small jobs. I returned to the states and was stationed in Waco, Texas in the Air Force Printing Plant. After two years it was back to Pacific Stars and Stripes in Tokyo. d Stripes, this time as the overall production manager for the printing of the newspaper and the job shop. In 1978 my family and I came back to the states to Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. I retired with 33 years and two months from the Air Force. For the next 10 years I tought Air Force Junior ROTC in the local high school. In 2000 I was elected International President Air Force Sergeants Association. I held that position for 3 years. Now fully retired (a professional volunteer) with my wife of
52 years. My two daughters are grown and out of the house.
