I Was Born & Raised in Milford , Ohio, Near Cincinnati, In 1955. During The Summer Of 1967, I Started Playing Guitar And Got A Bass Guitar, A Goya "Beatle" Bass. My Favorite Bassists Were Jack Casady [Jefferson Airplane], Jack Bruce, Noel Redding , John Lodge [Moody Blues], Chris Squire [Yes] & Paul McCartney.From 1967 To 1974, I Embraced The Hippie Scene & Explored All Its Aspects Back In Those Days , However, I Found My Meaning To Life On 09-10-1974 - When I Became A Born Again Christian & Committed My Heart To The Lord And He Is Still Molding Me Into His Faithful Servant To This Day. He Also Healed & Restored My Mind - By Memorizing Bible Scriptures & Guitar Chords - During A Vision, In April 1975, God Showed Me My Future Calling And Then Gave Me The Gift Of Music And An Ear To Hear Music. Supernaturally, My Skills Improved Immediately & I Soon Developed My Trade Mark - Hybrid/ Flat Picking Style . Within 3 Months After The Vision, I Played Rhythm Guitar With The Teen Challenge Choir In Brooklyn ,N.Y. In Front Of An Estimated 3,000 People , With The Legendary Nicky Cruz [Former Gang Leader Turned Author & Evangelist] On The Platform Next To Me - It Was Then That I Realized That The Vision Was Real - In 1979, I Moved Out To San Francisco From Cincinnati. & Bought A Fender Telecaster And Learned Lots Of Lead Licks From My Favorite Guitarists, Such As; Phil Keaggy, Wishbone Ash, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour, Steve Hackett [Genesis], Steve Howe [Yes], Al Di Meola, Santana, Dave Mason, The Allman Bros., The Outlaws, , Great Blues Players Like; Albert King, Buddy Guy, Peter Green , Savoy Brown & Mountain & So Many Others. I Managed To Develop My Own Lead Styles Based On What I Learned From These Great Guitarists . Another Personal Hi- Lite Was On 10/14/2007 ,When I Played With The Legendary, Alan White [YES & John Lennon ], In Pt. Townsend, Wa., At The Upstage , In Front Of A Sold Out Audience, On 6 Songs, Including "Imagine" . Today I Play & Write Progressive Rock / Celestial Music /Atmospheric Music/Celtic Folk/Instrumental Jazz/ Blues Rock. I've Recorded 2 Albums," The Celestial Realm" Released 11/ 09 & "Odyssey On The Ocean Of Life" Released 3/10/2010 . "Odyssey" Is A Progressive Rock Album About Oceans & Celestial Concepts & How They Relate To Everyday Life , Spiritually, Emotionally & Physically. Both Albums Were Self Produced In A Home Studio . Guitar & Helped Missy Fulfill Her Musical Vision For Her Awesome Songs - On November 4, 2011 , I Will Resume Recording My Next Prog Rock Album Called "Forest Of Wonder". My Musical Skills Consists Of Lots Of Classical Melodys, Orchestrated Songs [ Like Moody Blues Mellotron], Skillfully Constructed Lead Solos . I Use An EBOW [Electronic Bow] As A Regular Part Of My Set & Have Taken The EBOW Into The Future Creating Spacey Violin / Flute & Supersonic Sounds. Also I Do Advanced Volume Swell Solos & Intricate Chord Picking To Create My Version Of What I Call "Celestial Music". I Play Music Regularly In Local Venues Around The Seattle Area. We Are Centered Out Of Union,Washington . Eventually, We Want To Play On The World Stage & Share Our Brand Of Celestial [Heavenly] Music With The World -- To Bring Spiritual Hope , Love & Joy To The World. Secondly, I Don't Attend Many Churches Anymore , Because I'm Tired Of People Claiming To Be Christians , Who Don't Walk In Love, Rather They Walk In Judgement Of Others ,Whose Looks Or Lifestyles They Don't Understand, Or Try To ! The Modern Church Has Become So Full Of Greed, Corruption, Hateful, Unloving, Selfish, Immoral, Arrogant, Pampered On Rediculous Ideas Like,"To Suffer For God, Means You Lack Faith". Miss- Guided " OverProsperous "- "Faith Teachers" Like This, Will Someday Have Give Account To All Those ,Courageous Men & Women Of God That Were Martyred For Their "Faith". There's Too Many People In Churches Claiming To Be Somebody , Like, A Prophet ,Or Offer False Teachings Designed To Bring Themselves Glory Instead Of God ! While Their Deeds Reveal, Evil Controlling Motives , Masking The Extreme Pride Within. Because The Elders Tolerate These Kinds Of People - They Have Become - Powerless And Weak. I've Been Stabbed In The Back So Many Times ,[By So Many So Called Christians],That I Feel Like A Human Pin Cushion And, Not To Mention, I'm Seriously Burned Out. People Who Knew Me In The Many Churches I've Attended All Over The Country - Know I Was Quite Involved And Helped Establish Lots Of Ministrys ,That Saw Positive Results, Because I Wanted To Do God's Way- Not Mine! Modern Christianity, Has Lost Its Ability To Love One Another In The Manner That Jesus Showed, [Which Was Laying His Life Down, Daily For His Friends [John 15:13] & Loving Thy Neighbor As Himself, [Luke 10:27 ]. We Are Called To Love --- Not Sit In Judgement-- That's God's Job! They Attack Homosexuals & Abortionists ,But What About The Multitudes Of Sins Still Going On Unchecked In Lots Of Churches ? Judgement From God Will Start In The House Of The Lord ! Finally, Now Days, The Church I Attend Is Usually On A Mountain, Or In A Deep Forest Or Walking On The Beach Or Driving In My Car Or Walking Down a City Street,. Note ; To Have Church - Only Takes 2 People; You, Whomever, & God. Jesus Said" Whenever Two Or More Come Together In His Name He Is In Their Midst".[Matthew 18:20] Does That Mean I'm To Be A Loner And Not Socialize? No. I Wouldn't Be A Very Dedicated Guitarist , If That Were The Case. I Go Where God Sends Me To Play -- Whether That Be Bars [I Don't Drink Anymore , Only Coffee Or Water], Coffee Houses, Parks Or The Big Stage .
