Michael's Story
Hello to everyone. My wife Toni and I live in the Daytona Beach area. We have been blessed with two wonderful children and even added a grandson this past November.
I retired from a long career as a firefighter and paramedic last March. Retirement was not what I expected, so.....I'm currently working as a medic for NBC/Universal and enjoying life.
Contrary to expectations at the time, all in all, I turned out to be fairly normal. Whatever that is.
My career taught me many things, not the least of which is that life is...Expand for more
indeed very short, and that nothing is really guaranteed.
I still fish as often as I can. It's easier when you don't have to skip school to go. I still play the guitar, too, just not as often or as well as I'd like to.
Working for NBC has allowed me to meet many of the rock musicians from the past, as well as many of today's big names. I must admit that part is fun.
I'm not big on the social networking sites, but I'm in the phone book if anyone wants to get in touch.
For now, I suppose that I should get back to work.
