Life After living in Sylmar for several more years after graduating, I moved my family to Santa Clarita. My two children attended elementary school there then we relocated to Somis. Three years later, we bought some acreage in Moorpark and built our home. In the few years following high school, I had a great time racing motorcycles in the desert with our club "The Sylmar Squids." Also, I spent a few years in a band where we did various parties and night clubs. I worked at my father's musicical instrument reapir business in Hollywood for several years. That was interesting, but I finally moved on to a more challenging and secure career. My parents and relatives moved from Sylmar to the Central Coast several years ago and are enjoying life in the wine country. I'll probably retire around 2012 and probably stay in Ventura County. School The only teacher I had through high school that I remember is Ed Harding. He taught the Heavy Metal class which helped me get a job in the sheet metal and machinery business right after graduating. I recall that he raced drag cars and taught high school...Expand for more
