Michael's Story
Greetings from Michael
I have three offspring all Boys:
Cameron 30, lives in Nanaimo, 2 University degrees, works for the Government, Ministry of the Enviorment and is set for life. Just got promoted to the Directer of his division and is getting married soon.
James 21, lives with me, his mom threw him out at the age of 16, guitar, very creative. and wants to rebuild classic cars, finished part 1 at BCIT steel fabrication, 1st year weilding as well and has a job and works on his truck.
Mackenzie 20, (MY Baby) lived with me until hw was 19 his Mom threw him out at the age of 15, living now with his girlfriend has a good job only works to feed his party habit. One day he just might wake up to reality and go back to school, he turned down 2 schollerships.
As for myself I have a good enjoyable laid back west coast life, good work, good friends and good kids. Single by choice as I prefer to do what I want to do when I want to do it. Cullinary expert, enjoys gardening, art and being one with nature. Reading a lot on nutrition and health as well as yoga, tai chi, integrated healing as well at times I get lost in fiction. Trying to figure out just when I should retire. I will work for as long as I can maybe though in some small town in the Central Coast managing a fishing resort and fish till I drop.
What else is there? Hmmm...
I'm presently working on it.
Curious as to what happened to those I went to school and hung out with and of course had a good time with. Drop me a line just to satisfy my curiosity? Or don't and forever be afraid of the unknown.

Response to a question asked: What was your biggest crush: I didn't have a biggest crush other than Orange Crush and Kit Cat. There were too many pretty girls to have had a big crush so I must have been confused. None of the teachers inspired me which is most likely why I quit half way through grade 11, but I had the most fun with I think his name was Mr. Radcliff, Science teacher who was a lot of fun except for when John Suttie kept pulling my chair out from under me in class. l over again, Yes definitly only I would finish school and go on to University. My 30 year old has a degree in urban planning and one in economics and is continuing on for a masters in business. The other two Boys well, they are still too young yet. School memories are vague. Mostly girls, the Rink, the Track, riding the bus and just hanging out with everyone along with sharing lemon tarts with Collen D. and Joan W. and of course kissing fish lips JW, she was the sister of the my first Love. The social parties and of course all the ladies that I went out with and aspired to go out with. Everything and everyone were all very special to me wether it was good or bad, a learning experience none the less. You would think that I would have learned from my experiences, guess not, I still get my self into trouble constantly. What the Hell be happy...
Workplace
What Career!
Just started working in Construction and got very good at what I was doing. Drywall, renovations, steel stud, accustical ceilings T-Bar, sound proofing, wood frame construction, insulation, window replacement, plumbing, electrical. You name it, even as far as 1 1/2 years in drafting and design. Spent 14 months traveling Holland, Germany, Denmark (working of course) and took a nice holliday in the South of France. I did spend one week in Saudi Arabia but couldn't handle being enclosed with barb wire fence and AK-47s patrolling the gates, no booze and no going out to see the sights. Unfortuatly my back went on me in 1996 and was employed by WCB learning how to walk again until 1999. Can't run anymore, only light swimming and walking while Yoga and Tai Chi have done wonders. Since 1999 I have been working at a Casino Supervising/Assistant Manager. I'm just about ready to learn something new but have a few more years with my Kids, two Boys living with me in a one bedroom basement suite. Until then I'm on the cutting edge of researching health and nutrician. If only I could stop smoking and take my own advice.......In my spare time I help those who have problems with WCB and FMEP as I am well versed and experienced with both WCAT and Family Court where I have not lost as of yet.
So knock on wood...Crap I almost knocked myself out....
