Michael's Story

Still single and mal-adjusted. In the look but don't touch stage. Drinking chases away some of that, but there is no future in drinking or smoking so that is out. To those that are single/divorced/children or no children there is hope (none for me; but there is for you) for we are the willing. I am still the loner after all these years and I do have a pet. I retired from the Air Force after 15 years (early retirement) and then went to work at PACCAR ITD. The some of my life; it has been fun but still hoping for more. I've seen different classmates over the years and my oh my how we have changed. So far Life has been a wonderful road that I've traveled and each day is different. Though some may be lonely and bereft of the comfort of others; each day we awake alive is a good day for we know not what the da...Expand for more
y will hold; and for that day we should be thankful that we have it to experience; for this is the some of our lives, be it children (grandchildren) or other significant events it will come to pass that it was a wonderful day. To quote someone whom (thanks to Helen Beytaylon(think I spelled it right) our English teacher in the 10th Grade)) my motto is to live each day as it comes along and hope that when you go to bed at night you wake up in the morning. Yeah I know this is a little bit morbid; but as you grow older you'll see the meaning in what I state. It's a horrible gift I've been given to write so many eulogies for my relatives. Rejoice that you have something to look forward to. It is fun to finally have a forum where maybe some will read and some will say I am a big blowhard but this is life and I will say get over it.
