Michael's Story
Left High School. Married Cynthia Parker and promptly had a daughter. Went to night school and got good enough grades for scholarships to Florida International University in Economics. Renewed my hard-core surfing. Won an Army fellowship to attend graduate school at the University of Miami in Applied Statistics and Management Science. Had a son. n Francisco. Later became a general contractor but missed the intellectual atmosphere and returned to quantitative modeling for the Federal Reserve Bank of SF. Cynthia and I divorced. After 9/11, worked with Naval Special Warfare(SEAL/SWCC) in San Diego. Survived a bout with stage 3 prostate cancer. Remarried to Elisa. Returned to Half Moon Bay and worked for the IRS until retiring.
Currently avoiding structure while working out and mountain biking as much as possible!
