Michael's Story

To get you all caught up on what I have done and what I am doing, I am currently a newlywed, but have been married since December 15 of 2007. I met my wife Clarinda through an online chat room. We dated three years before we FINALLY decided to get married. I am currently a musician as a keyboardist at church, playing one Sunday a month for two worship services as I have done in the past fifteen years. I have been volunteering my time with church activities, such as vacation bible school. In my lifetime, so far, I have found many ways to keep myself happy by volunteering in church activities, my marriage to Clarinda, playing my keyboard, and enjoying life every day. t being a high school band director because I loved marching band, but I knew if I had kept going to school, I would still be paying for student loans by the time I reach 50 years old. I think what would surprise everyone at my high school reunion is my marriage to Clarinda because I told a lot of my classmates I would NEVER get married because of what my parents have been through My fondest childhood memory was when I first learned to play by ear on the drums at age 5. My mother and I were listening to Eric Clapton's song, "I Shot The Sheriff" on an old wooden stereo. All she had to do was just move my arms a little and the rest is history. That's where my interest in music started, and I will never forget how it happened.
