Michael's Story

I graduated from McColl, SC in 1973. Vet of the Vietnam War. Served until the end of the war. Professor in sociology. I did my BA and MA degrees in Sociology from Central Michigan University. I earned the Ph.D. in sociology from York University in Toronto, Canada in 1998. I am currently a tenured professor at UNC-Pembroke. I've been a professor at UNCP...Expand for more
since 2000. I still play music and am currently in a band called BOND in Southern Pines. My wife, Madeleine, a citizen of France, and our two sons, live in Laurinburg, NC. I have written two books in my field. I enjoyed my time at McColl. Many friends are still with us and many have passed away. I hope to see more of you in the future. Cheers, Mike
