Michael's Story
Hello fellow Eagles! Hope this note finds you all well & happy. Here's my basic story:
I live on Tapps Island in the Lake Tapps community of Washington east of Tacoma. I worked in the baking industry for 40+ years. I retired in 2012 as the President COO of Pacific NW Baking Co., Sumner WA. I built that plant in 1988-89 to produce only McDonald's Hamburger buns for the entire NW (million + buns a day). I loved the work & miss all the people I met along the way.
I married in 1972 & divorced in 1986. That was enough for me, & I have stayed single ever since. I have 2 of the greatest daughters in the world, Kyndra & Jennifer, both very successful business woman. My favorite pastimes now are: family (of course) snow skiing, motorcycle riding (adventure, dirt, street, as long as on 2 wheels), fly fishing, RV-ing, golf, hiking & general wandering around. I fell in love with helisking in 1993 & can't get enough of it even know my bank account says I should.. In a typical winter I still ski 40+ days.
I had a heart attack (unannounced) sometime in 2010. That led to a quadruple by-pass when discovered during a routine physical. But all is good now, and I feel great with no limitations.
