Michael's Story
Life
After gradualtion I enlisted in Uncle Sam's Underwater Canoe Club and spent the next three and half years riding nuclear powered ballast missle submarines all under the Pacific. I was stationed at the submarine base at Pearl Harbor but lived in Waikiki when I had three months off after each three months underwater. I worked at the Waikiki Beach center teaching surfing to visitors and meeting surf legends like Rabbit and Buffalo and Duke. try Bed and Breakfast after I retired from my real jobs as a Tax Compliance Rep for the State of California. I had returned to the mainland to get educated and after ten years at San Diego State on the G.I. Bill I was asked to graduate which I did rather begrudgingly with degrees a batch. Those brothers sure know how to make you enjoy studing. Something I learned way after Serra. Come see me On Maui, classmates get a free week in Paradise.
