Michael's Story
Life
I have been retired since 1995 after spending 33 years with the US Civil Service and 33 years in the US Navy Reserves. Until 2007 I was a Solar Physics Consultant to the Naval Research Laboratory. I now live in Richmond, VA but travel a lot in our 5th Wheel RV to visit kids and grand kids in Atlanta, Shreveport, Phoenix, and Los Angeles and then spend some time by ourselves wherever we want. After 2 years of Navy Reserves in Denver while attending University of Colorado, in Boulder, I went to OCS in September 1964. Then 2/65-1/66 at te Naval Research Lab, Washington, DC, 1/66 - 1/68 on USS Stickel DD-888, then 2/68-2/97 in reserve units in Washington, DC supporting the Office of Naval Research. Retired CAPT.
