Michael's Story
Still looking for an honest occupation, I am an editor and writer in Sarasota, Florida. Elena Gresko (Catholic Central 1968) and I married in 1974, I finished my MBA from Binghamton University the next year, and we moved to Michigan, where I worked as a systems analyst at Unisys Corp. (Thanks, Mike Worhach). We moved to Southwest Florida in the ‘80s after I earned a master’s degree in journalism at The University of Michigan, I worked for several daily Florida newspapers as a reporter, editor and correspondent in Fort Myers, Tampa, Sarasota and Miami..

rn claiming to be ours. Our son, Roman, lives in Atlanta, where he works for SureCall corporation as its “digital channel marketing manager.” I don’t know what that means. Our daughter, Maya, is married and living in Washington, DC, where she works as the sexual assault prevention programs at American University.
Elena just retired after 30 years with the Sarasota County school system,. A master’s-prepared Occupational Therapist, she was department chair OT and PT in the system. So, we are traveling more and rebuilding our home “to age in place:” Elena’s new career as a consultant.
