I just finished reading a couple of profiles and decided that maybe it was time to share as well. Not unlike others, I too find it hard to believe that it has been this long since high school graduation. Some may say I have come full circle. I have been back in Wayzata for 6 plus years after spending the lion's share of my time living in the Fargo Moorhead area. After high school, I attended and graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead. I wanted to teach high school history but never got the opportunity as there were no teaching jobs available in the mid 70's. I got into sales and have had an odd yet often successful career. I had two jobs early on, advertising, and office supplies which helped me learn. I then went to work for Colgate Palmolive for 15 years. I was corporately downsized at age 39. I worked three part time jobs for the next 27 months. I finally found a full time sales job, sadly at 35% of my previous income. I kept one of my part time jobs (bartending) for the next nine years.
