Michael's Story
Retired after 30 yr and 1 day at Oremet in Albany,Or. Married twice, still with #2. Lost a son to cancer years ago. Have 2 daughters, 1 step-daughter,1 son. Oldest daughter works for US bank as a trainer. Step-daughter going to school and has a teen age daughter. Youngest daughter works for Amerititle, has 2 boys and twin girls , Son is in Med school at OHSU. I was in National Guard, did basic and Ait in fort Polk LA . Went to Mardi gra when there. Sold shoes in Corvallis at Rodgers shoes. and at Longs shoes in Alban...Expand for more
y. Sold clothes and did tailoring at Gay Blade in Albany, then at Emporium in Albany when I was laid off from Oremet. Have been to many Airbrush getaways and to Chicago art Museum to see Gaugian showing , first time all his works were together in US since early 1900's. Have drove down both coast and up the middle of US from New Orleans to International falls MN. Also have been to Hawaii, Alaska and Canada. I am one lucky dude and would find it hard to be much happier. Love every day of being retired in Eastern Oregon
