Michael's Story
Life
After spending 3 years in the Japenese School for Ventriliquism (JSV) I sent away for a Russian mail order bride to help me in my act. The Ventriliquists Union found out that I was using my wife as a dummy in my act, and reported me to the Screen Actors Guild. I spent the next five years hiding away in shame, in Minnetonka Minn. where I was the dean of the Zamboni drivers school. I changed my name to Blind Mellon Chitlin, but after I couldn't break into the Blues scene, I changed it back to Bucket-Head. (Long Story). Anyway, Life in Minnesota became increasingly difficult after the whole whiskey bottle and pregnant cow episode, so I moved to California to write letters to Penthouse Forum full time. If you wanted to send me an e-mail I guess the name mwathen55 would work, and that could be sent to a gmail dot com account....... hint hint.
Seriously folks...... After graduating form Colorado State in 86, I went to Officer Candidate School in Newport RI for 16 fun filled weeks....(it's NOT like the movie, believe me!) Then I went to Naval Supply Corp...Expand for more
s School in Athens, GA. In 7 months, I got the equivalent of an MBA in supply chain management. Then off to the fleet. I served on USS Cayuga (LST-1186), Naval Supply Center Alameda CA, and the Military Sealift Command, Oakland CA. Pretty boring stuff, but I got out after 11 years as a Lt.CDR. I spent the next 400 years of my life in the printing and packaging world, and now I work for Foster's Wine Estates America...(yes, the beer guys). I'm the north American wine label catagory manager... so anytime you drink Beringer, Etude, Stags Leap, Meridian, or about 10 others..... look at the label....ta da! That's me. (Talk about Cliche, move to Napa and work in the wine industry. Anyway... I now live in Green Valley, Ca near Napa, and play hockey twice a week in Vacaville...still giving them hell (Go Lakewood Tigers!!! ha ha).
My wife and I have been married for ..... 897 years.... ha ha (I joke).... 17 years, and we have one little knucklehead that I love with all my heart.... Nicholas. He's 9, and more of a smart-ass than I was, if you can believe that.
