ove - with the kids being so involved at such young ages. Texas is an amazing place to live. Not just because of the rediculously low cost of living, but the sense of community. It is a very family oriented environment and we love that our kids can enjoy their childhood without fear of crime, gangs and drugs constantly being put in front of them. Yes, of course those issues still exist in Texas, but not as prominant as it is back home in Long Island. All in all (with the exception of the food), we don't miss New York at all... And it seems that someone is being executed daily, so we have that going for us... :o) I still live for music and just recently started playing guitar again... In fact, I've been taking lessons for a few months and my son just started taking lessons as well... a little rock star in training... So that's our life in a nutshell. My wife and I are busy 7 days/nights a week with the kids and their sports (practices, lessons, games, tournaments and travel for tournaments) - but we wouldn't give it up for the world.....
