Michael's Story
Life
After BHS I went to QCC and received an AAS in computer technology. While at QCC I started dating one of our classmates, Eileen Gong. She was diagnosed with Lupus in July of 1970 but still continued on with her college work. I transferred from QCC and Eileen transfered from York College to the College of Health Related Professions at Downstate Medical Center. I majored in Medical Computer Science and Eileen majored in Laboratory Animal Medicine. Eileen graduated June of 74 and I in February of 75. Two weeks after I graduated we were married (03/08/75). The wedding took place at the UN chapel in NYC.

cal College in Manhattan and worked there for 19 years until the Lupus and other medical problems forced her to retire. I worked in the computer field for such companies as Beth Israel Medical Center, Woolworths (a truly nickle and dime company), ITT, Worldcom and P&O Nedlloyd. For the last few years I have been doing consulting.
Eileen's medical problems worsened over the next 10 years when she passed away June 23, 2003. A memorial service was held for her at the UN Chapel bringing things full circle.
I now live in East Elmhurst, NY with my cat pepper.
