Astronaut Alan Bean in downtown Ft Worth. For what it's worth.
I once got to fly in a WWII B-17 bomber......Very cool!
I am somewhere between Middle Age and Old Geezer. Married for more than 37 years (to the same beautiful woman!). MA in Physics. Systems Engineer for allmost 30 years. Taught Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, Math at high school level. Taught Freshman Astronomy part-time for 22 years on university level and hope to teach again full-time after retirement. Pretty much a Science-Geek, I suppose. I read a lot and like to wrestle with thorny philosophical problems. Teach a bible class at my church and am very interested in Christian Apologetics. Lousy athelete. Typical absent-minded professor type (just ask my family!). I have a pretty good sense of humor, love bad puns and absurd real-life situations. Don't have much use for those who take themselves too seriously (including me) or who cannot laugh at the absurdities of our culture and nature. Overall pretty unremarkable, I think.".
