Michael's Story
My story is this. I quit school in 1980 and did not graduate in 1981 like I should have. I received my GED in 1980 and moved to my mothers in Farmington, Mo. I began employment at Biltwell Co Inc. in Jan,1981 and remained with them until 1994. I was a supervisor in charge of shipping and receiving at Biltwell. I saw the writing on the wall with garment factories such as Biltwel and decided I better look for a job that would take me into my latter years such as retirement. I had been married also in 1981 and have one son with my 1st wife. He is now 29 yea...Expand for more
rs old and has made me a proud grandfather twice now. I divorced in 1987 and re-married my 2nd wife in 1991. I began my 2nd carreer in 1994 as a Corrections Officer at Farmington Correctional Center where I am now employed as a Casemanager III. I quit Biltwell on a Friday and started the prison on a Monday. I began a new family in 2001 and I now have a 2nd son by my 2nd wife. We have been married over 20 years and my son is 10 years old. I remember few faces from high school and have few memories but if someone was to remember me, it would make my day.
