Michael's Story
Life
After graduation I joined the Air Force. I was a medic stationed in San Antonio where I worked in a neonatal ICU. I got married to my wife Christen in 1991. After I got out of the service I became a phoenix police officer. I have thirteen years on the job now. I have two children, Maddie 6 and Jake 4. LIfe is good.
Workplace
Well, I'm a Phoenix Police Officer. I work out of the Desert Horizon Precinct on one of the Neighborhood Enforcement Teams. We work mainly narcotics,...Expand for more
but handle anything that the neighborhood has a problem with. It's a pretty good gig.
Military
I was stationed at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio from 1989 to 1993. I worked in the neonatal ICU as a medical services specialist. I was also a member or our air evac team and was in charge of keeping our air transportable isolettes and medication boxes ready to go at all times. It was probably the most rewarding thing I have done in my life. Sometimes I still miss that job.
