Michael's Story
Life
Attended Chaminade High School in Hollywood Florida from 1966 to 1968. Moved to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio in 1968 and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in June of 1969.
Two weeks later started with Ohio Bell Telephone as a telephone Installer. Was always interested in Ham Radio and finally got licensed as WB8CXO, General Class in 1969.
Started flying lessions in 1970... Licensed as a private pilot and got an instrument rating in 1972. Transfered into Central Office with Ohio Bell in 1970. Worked part time with Radio Shack in 1970. Trained in #1 ESS in 1976 with Ohio Bell. Was always interested in Scuba Diving and got sea card from the YMCA sometime in the late 70's. Also did some skydiving and flew skydivers in the late 70's and early 80's. Bought my first plane a Cessna 140 in 1978. Sold the '140 and bought a Cessna 170B with flight instructor/friend Russ Kuhlen. Met Susan Jo Arner in 1979. Married Sue in 1985... Finally bought a house then too!!! Got into Big Brothers in 1991 and my last little brother moved (strongly suggested he get his own apt.) out this last weekend (May 10, 2003). I now have 40 years with the phone company but blew all my money on toys so it looks like I'll be working forever.

e were best friends on 41st street (now called Franklin) in what was called West Hollywood, Florida. Back in 1968 he had black hair with a white spot in the front. I don't know what high school he might of graduated from. His dad was in the Marines so if Lewis joined the service I'd expect it would have been the Marines.
Looking for all the old friends I can find... especially looking for my friend Lewis White. In the late 60's he lived on 41st street in what was then West Hollywood Florida. I believe the street is now called Franklin and West Hollywood is now just Hollywood. Lewis, nicknamed Lewie, black hair and had a small blotch of white hair above his forehead. Back then he worked with his dad who did simulated stone. His dad was an ex marine so if Lewie joined the military it probably would have been the marines. He had an older brother and I think 2 younger sisters. He attended the local public school but the area was growing and they were bussed to a temporary school at some old barracks near Ft Lauderdale International Airport. We usta enjoy flying u-control airplanes and messed with a go-cart my dad built. Anyone who might remember Lewis please send me an email. My family moved from the area in 1968 and we lost tract of Lewis shortly after. Thanks...
